Coral has a naturally branching, irregular form that's almost impossible to replicate with precision, which is exactly what makes it such a fitting subject for hand-carving. This mini charm captures that organic structure in up-cycled Ankole cow horn, translating a shape from the sea into something you'd want to wear every day.
Artisan women in rural Uganda carve each piece individually, working with the natural properties of the horn to bring out the branching detail that defines the coral silhouette. The result is textural and dimensional in a way that flat or cast pieces rarely achieve. Color varies from piece to piece, landing anywhere from pale cream to warm amber.
Its compact scale makes it an ideal layering piece. Cluster it with the fish and turbo shell for a water-inspired chain, or mix it into a broader collection of shapes for something more eclectic. Available on its own or on a 16" paperclip chain.
