Where the mini butterfly is made for layering, this full-sized version is made to be noticed. Hand-carved from up-cycled Ankole cow horn and finished with fine embellished detail across the wings, it has a presence that reads from across the room while still rewarding a closer look.
Artisan women in rural Uganda carve and embellish each piece entirely by hand. The wingspan is fuller here, giving the surface detail more room to breathe and the natural horn more space to show its character. Color shifts from piece to piece, ranging from warm cream to deeper amber tones.
Wear it as a focal point on a collar necklace or let it anchor a charm chain at a 16" length. Either way, it holds its own.
